The obituary notice of Susan Marion DOBSON

Susan was a lifelong friend. We lived in the same street and went to the same grammar school together. I enjoyed my last visit to Susan in Macclesfield when we reminisced, comparing memories of our early years together. My main recollection is of all the laughter, I think we both enjoyed our friendship which brought us much happiness. I shall miss our contact . Her letters always contained news of the Bank Street area where we were brought up and these restarted my own memories. Susan's son, Tim, has uploaded £20 for me on 2nd September as I now live in Scotland and don't currently have access to this website. With warm good wishes and deepest sympathy Katharine Barber

In memory of Susan Marion Dobson, from Mrs Mavis Whyatt, paternal grandmother to Sarah and Christopher.

I was given £5 from my sister’s neighbours, Leanne and Andy Torbitt and their family of Monsall Drive, to donate to the Christie Hospital in Macclesfield fund in memory of our mother, the late Susan Dobson who passed away on 5 August 2021.

I am donating a £10 given to me by my sister's friend, Mrs Isobel Cuthbert and her husband, Murray. They want to donate it in memory of my mother, Susan Marion Dobson for the Christie, Macclesfield. Susan passed away on Thursday, 5 August.

This donation is in memory of our mother, Susan Marion Dobson who passed away on 5 August 2021 Susan nursed both her mother and husband through the final stages of cancer and always said it would have saved her so much time and energy if a cancer specialist unit had been available locally. We would like to donate the £60 we have collected so far from friends and neighbours to the new Christie Hospital in Macclesfield.
